Most of the commodity item tended higher on the wholesale grain market on Monday due to short supply position, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new Bardan managed to gain Rs 30 to Rs 3040, Guwar Sindh and Punjab followed same pattern, gaining Rs 100 to Rs 14000-15000, Gur low type posted fresh gain of Rs 200 to Rs 5000 and the best variety was up by Rs 1000 to Rs 6000 in the process of trading, they said.

On the seeds side, rapeseeds cake low type rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1310 and the better type was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1315, they said. Rates were unchanged on the rice sector due to balanced demand and supply position, the said.
